【Important Notice | New Vehicle Inspection Regulations】

Dear vehicle owners, please be aware that according to the latest updates, the Transport Department has strengthened vehicle inspection requirements.

If any of the 13 specified critical defects are found during inspection, the vehicle’s licence will be temporarily suspended. The vehicle must be fully repaired and pass a re-inspection before it can be legally driven again.

⚠️ The specified critical defects include:

1. Brake system oil leakage

2. Brake hydraulic hose burst / swelling

3. Failure of parking brake or brake system

4. Failure of any wheel brake and the parking brake

5. Loose wheel nuts (more than one nut)

6. Low braking efficiency (less than 40%)

7. Steering system oil leakage dripping onto the ground, with reservoir oil level too low

8. Steering system components seriously loose / deformed

9. Two or more tyres with insufficient tread depth / exposed structural layer

10. Leakage of engine oil or diesel

11. Chassis cracking or fracturing

12. Suspension spring broken / severely loosened

13. Any other faults posing immediate or potential danger
